Black and Glitter Matte!!

Yay for the weekend!! Anyone doing anything fun? Last night I got a few things at Ulta and Sallys(Poshe Super Fast Drying Top Coat being one of those things because I'm hoping it can be my Seche Vite healthier-replacement [it's 3-Free]. I'll let you know after I've tried it a few times) but I'll swatch some of my new polishes later.

For today, I bring you a mani that I saw on Kewt-ified Nails here a few days ago. Go check out and follow her site!! I had similar polishes so it was easy for me to try it out the same day I read her blog post!! :) Hope you like it as much as I did. I think the best looking matte manis are usually done with darker colors or glitters/shimmers. The matte gives it an awesome look!

I used:
Sinful Colors Black on Black
Wet n Wild Party Of Five Glitters
Essie Matte About You

Very easy and quick mani, yet I love it!! What do you think? Thanks for reading!

  5. Love it! Yeah, the WnW Party of 5 is not as dense as some of the Happy Birthday dupes-- I believe Milani Gems is the most dense, but that one is difficult to find for me (maybe easier for you?).

Looks great thanks for showing me! :D

  13. mom and i tried this the other weekend and mine didn't turn out as well... i think/know i put too many coats of the party of five on so it was like a glitter overload instead of looking more like stars in the sky, which i think yours looks like here. we also used a blue matte, not a black. how did you get it to not turn glossy when you put the party of five over the matte? did you just use a very thin coat?
