The Digit-al Dozen DOES Skittles Day 3: Daleks!

Good morning, readers! It's time for the third "skittle nail art" look for this month's Digit-al Dozen challenge! I've said before how much we really like to watch Doctor Who, and I've already done Galaxy Nails as well as Weeping Angels nail art inspired by the show. Today's mani is also inspired by Doctor Who, and I love how these turned out! Dalek's are pretty much the "mortal enemy" of The Doctor in case you didn't have a clue of what I'm talking about.

There is an episode in Season 5 where The Doctor ends up on a Dalek ship and finds 5 "New Daleks" that are genetically pure. They were in these 5 colors, so I decided to recreate them on my nails with black studs and clear rhinestones!

This mani is really easy, the key is to use a thick slow drying top coat and place the studs and rhinestones quickly into the clear coat before it can set. I ended up putting Seche Vite on top of this mani because I wanted to wear it for a few days and that sealed in the studs better! I just used a black polish and a striper brush for the last details.
