Elevation Polish Naughty By Nature Collection!

Press Sample

Good morning, readers! It's officially November. How did that happen? This year is flying by!

On November 7th, Elevation Polish is releasing it's newest collection. It's called Naughty By Nature and is 6 polishes with a fun surprise-- they are all WATER BASED! Such a great way to tie into the collection name. Let me tell you, I had no idea these were water based when I was wearing and swatching them. They applied beautifully and wore really well. I can't wait to show you!

Let's get started! Darkest Storm is a shimmering dark blue holographic polish. This color contains both cosmetic grade holographic pigment and spectraflair. (This will also be available without spectraflair upon request only.) A gorgeous holo and it applied really nicely. I'm showing two coats with top coat, some pics in my lightbox and one in direct sun to show off the rainbow!

Next up is Pitaraq. It is a clear based topper with platinum flake shimmer, light blue flake shimmer, and blue shimmer. I've layered one coat with top coat over a plain black creme so you can see all of the gorgeous shimmer and flakes in Pitaraq. Super gorgeous!

Black Ice is a glimmering charcoal matte with hints of green, blue, and gold shimmer. I'm showing 2 coats below without top coat, and one extra macro shot with a shiny top coat. This applied really well for a matte polish and I love the shimmers! I actually prefer it matte.

(with top coat)

Next is Volcanic Dust. It's a gorgeous darkened red creme. I'm showing 3 coats below but 2 would have been perfect if I'd applied better and didn't have a light spot on one finger. I'm claiming user error on that one and not the polish. I'm showing with top coat and an accent nail because I loved it so much I wore it to my Daddy's birthday party!

Naked Night Sky is a taupe jelly base with periwinkle, glacier, aqua, and baby blue glitter. I've done 3 coats for full coverage below with top coat. Love these glitters paired with such a neutral base!

Lastly, we have Forest of the Fog. This is a green based polish with gorgeous violet shimmer. It is so camera shy and my photos do NOT do it justice. In real life, the shimmer is shy but gorgeous and when you go out in the sun, its so lovely! I've done 2 coats with top coat for the photos below. It's a bit on the thick side, but it wasn't hard to apply as long as you didn't try to do a ton of swipes of the brush. Some in the sun and some in my light box.

Gosh I wish my pics had shown this one better.

What do you think of this fun new collection by Elevation Polish? As I mentioned above, this collection is water based, 5 Free, and Vegan friendly. I am still shocked to find out they are water based, it wasn't revealed to me until AFTER I'd swatched and worn them. Definitely changed my mind on water based polishes because I'd only ever tried the little kid water based polishes that Hailey has and that wash off of her nails at bath time. I can definitely say that these did NOT wash off of my nails at all. I just used my normal acetone based polish remover.  I also just used my normal base and top coat with these.

This collection is being released on November 7th, at 9PM (CST) at the Elevation Polish website link below! Which is your favorite?
