The Digit-al Dozen DOES Black and White Day 4: Crisscross Texture Gradient, Revisited.

Hello, readers!! As promised, these last 2 designs for Digit-al Dozen Black and White Week are not Doctor Who inspired. Instead, I've decided to revisit some of my own tutorials and choose colors that fit in with this week's theme!

For today's design, I revisited the Crisscross Texture Gradient Tutorial found here. It is still one of my favorite manis ever and I enjoyed redoing it. I do, however, still like the original color scheme better.

I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls for my base color, topped it with HKGirl Top Coat, and let it dry completely. Then, I followed the tutorial using striping tape, a makeup sponge, and OPI Solitaire, Zoya London, and Zoya Dahlia.

Because I used school glue all on the skin around my nails, cleanup was much easier than last time!

I wore this mani all weekend, it was too fun to not wear it a few days! Thanks for reading! Come back tomorrow for the final day of Black and White Week with The Digit-al Dozen!

  1. They may not be Doctor Who inspired but they sure remind me of cement. And cement, of course, reminds me of Weeping Angels!

  3. As gorgeous as this is (much more so than the original, if you ask me), I still say bring back the Doctor! Ah well, only two more days to wait till his next TV outing...

  9. Very cool design, I love the gradient and how that adds some variation. I'm not sure if I would have the patience to do this but I loved how yours turned out. :)
