Swatch Saturday: Sally Hansen Bling In The New Year Collection!

Press Sample

Good morning, readers! I have some really fun new glitters to share with you today by Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure. "The only bling you'll need to accent your holiday style."

I was really impressed with these glitters! Their formula reminded me less of mainstream polish brands and more like indie polish: the glitter was suspended well, they spread on the nail without slipping off with the brush, they didn't clump together, and had amazing coverage! I'm showing only ONE COAT of each below! I've layered each of them over a neutral Zoya Naturel shade with top coat.

Midnight Glitz: clear base with black and holo micro hexes, and gold medium hexes. One coat over Zoya Normani shown below.

Fa-la-la-lavender: clear base with pink and purple hexes of different sizes. Such an adorable name! This would look great over a ton of colors, I've layered one coat over Zoya Odette.

Twinkle Toes-ty: Clear base with holo gold and pink(I think! it's so holo that I can barely tell what the colors are) hexes in 2 sizes. I've layered one coat over Zoya Brigitte.

3, 2, 1-derland: Clear base with green and blue hexes in various sizes. One coat layered over Zoya Rue. This is a great glitter for mermaid nails!

There you have it! What do you think of this glitter collection by Sally Hansen? As I said above, I was really impressed with the formula of these and the Precision Brush has a rounded edge so it made for easy application!

Sally Hansen products are available at chain drug stores and mass retailers nationally. These are $7.99 each.
