The Digit-al Dozen DOES Red, Gold And Green. Day 3: Christmas Grunge Nail Art!

Good morning, readers! Are you enjoying Red, Gold, and Green Week with The Digit-al Dozen yet? Today's manicure is a grunge look with the classic Christmas color palette! Inspired by Chalkboard Nails' tutorial again, as with my distressed feather nails, this technique really works for any color combo!

I started with a base of Zoya Posh (matte). Once it was dry, I used the technique in Sarah's tutorial and added Zoya Veruschka (matte) and China Glaze Passion. Then, I topped it with shiny top coat, even though I've turned my nails to hide the shine in the light box. I guess they kind of look matte and I could have used a matte top coat for it, too!

Can you tell that I am really loving all of these nail art techniques lately?! So fun! Thanks for reading! Come back tomorrow for the next Red, Gold, and Green mani with The Digit-al Dozen!

Don't forget to check out what the other ladies did below!

  7. I'm digging these! I always find that my attempts at distressed manis look muddy, but the colours still have fidelity here, it's really nicely done!
