Good morning, readers! I have a simple mani to share with you that I wore over the weekend! The latest collection by Elevation Polish is The Heights Of Hawaii and this gorgeous purple/wine holo, called Haleakala, is part of it. It was definitely my favorite of the collection so I am very glad I was able to get it with my order this month! This is crazy holo, look at these lightbox photos showing it off! The lightbox usually diffuses the light too much for holo to show up.

Hello, readers! I have a fun polish from the new Red Dog Designs Who's 50th Anniversary Collection! Have you seen them yet? 13 Doctor Who themed polishes, and they are awesome!! I only own this one so far, since I LOVE textured polishes AND The Weeping Angels. Such a great combination!

The Angels Have The Phone Box: Various sized hex glitters, in shades of blue, grey, black, and silver, sprinkled with micro holo glitter, in a light grey base. This is a textured finish polish.

Good morning, readers! I meant to get this post up on Sunday, but we had a busy and fun family day so I had to push it back to today. Nicole by OPI just released 15 new core colors for 2014! These will be sticking around, unlike the limited edition collections I've been showing you lately. Lots of fabulous colors for nail art, and I've already shown you one nail art look I created using some of these.

The Lacquer Legion, Reinvention: Steam Punk Nail Art!

Hello, readers! Have you heard of The Lacquer Legion? It's a monthly nail art challenge to connect the nail polish community and I am so excited I was able to find the time to join in for this month's theme! You can go check out The Lacquer Legion on Facebook for some more info. This month's theme was "Reinvention" and it took me a bit to decide what to do for that. It was so broad that it was troubling me but as soon as I asked the hubby, he told me Steampunk would be great because a big part of it is taking things and reinventing them.

I was really excited because I haven't done steampunk nails before and I had to figure out what aspect I wanted to bring to the nail art. Gears and clockwork are what I instantly thought of, as well as those neat blimp-looking air ships. I decided to go with a sketch of an "airship" for my accent nail and various gears on the other nails.

Good morning, readers! It's a cold day here in my area of Florida, so I thought a holo would brighten it up a bit! I really wanted to wear Literary Lacquers Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster this week (especially after Debbie from The Crumpet labeled it her favorite polish for the year!), but also didn't want to cover it up too much. I decided to go with a "sideways waterfall" design, hoping it would give just a little added fun to an incredible base color without covering it all up.

Good morning, readers!  I have a triple post for today: this week's GOT Polish Challenge, Digit-al Dozen Monochrome Day 4, and another review for Sticky Nails stencils! Are you ready? Did you see yesterday's post with a different Sticky Nails guide? Go check it out!

Today's mani was challenging for me. First, I knew I had to keep the polishes in the same color family. Second, I had to pick colors that were older than a year in my stash. Lastly, I wanted to show another shape of tape guide from Sticky Nails. So I ended up with zigzag stripes and a reciprocal gradient with Zoya Monica and Milani Violet Dash. I did a reciprocal gradient back during Tape Week with The Digit-al Dozen, and I loved it so much I wanted to try again. Swatch and Review: SoFlaJo Goldstone!

Good afternoon, readers!! I have a surprise second posting for today. SoFlaJo just released a trio of polishes for Valentine's Day, The Just Love Her Collection, and I have one to show you! This is very LE, there are only a couple dozen made, so I wanted to post as soon as I could to give you a chance to grab one before it was sold out.

Goldstone is a red-toned brown jelly polish packed with gorgeous gold shimmer. I'm showing 3 thin coats with no top coat for these photos. It applied easily, but you have to build it up because of it's sheer jelly nature. Just gorgeous!

Good morning, readers! Are you enjoying Monochrome Week with The Digit-al Dozen? I've feeling very meh this week but am trying. AND I broke a nail! AHH! It was SO low, I had to cut and file the others down so the rest of the week will be mega shorties :(

Today's post is a fun review of a new product for me: Sticky Nails nail design stencils. You all know I'm a big fan of using striping tape to make fun nail art designs and these are BETTER than striping tape! They are shaped and make for really fun designs without needing artistic skill.

Good morning, readers! It's Day 2 of Monochrome Week with The Digit-al Dozen! For today's manicure, I went with a "golden" color scheme. The golden shimmer from the antique-ish OPI What Wizardry Is This? paired so nicely with Nicole by OPI Carrie'd Away, I knew I had to wear them together somehow. 

I was also able to try out one of the images from the Messy Mansion MM18 plate finally!

GOT Challenge: Pink!

Good morning, readers! I've decided to participate in a new challenge each week from The Crumpet! You can see more info on Debbie's post. Basically, each Thursday we will post a "Golden Oldie" polish that's at least a year old. We want to give some love to our older polishes that sometimes get stuck in a drawer after their initial welcome into the stash. I think it's a fun idea because I tend to weed out polishes that sit for that long without being used.

This week's prompt is Pink, so I grabbed Hare Atolla!

Last week, I saw that Ulta had some awesome OPI on clearance about 1/2 off, and OPI Mariah Carey Pure was one that I grabbed! I have wanted it since it came out, but couldn't afford the $30 price tag. It was marked down to $14.99 and I was able to use a $3.50 off coupon! SCORE!!

Good morning, readers! This is my first official nail art post of 2014! If you follow me on instagram, you would have seen my awesome nail mail package of 9 Barry M Gelly polishes! I've only tried one so far (in this mani) but I love it and feel like I'll need more!

After wanting to match my new cell phone case that the hubby bought me for Christmas (teal and violet), I set out on google to find some inspiration. This is loosely inspired by this mani from The Nailasaurus, but I added some pretty Moyou London Princess Plate 14 heart stamps as well!
