Swatch Saturday: Gwen Stefani by OPI Collection!

Press Sample

Good afternoon, readers! As promised yesterday, here is a full swatch post of the Gwen Stefani by OPI Collection! If you missed it, I highly recommend checking out yesterday's nail art post. I used 4 of these gorgeous polishes and I love how it turned out. Super funky and fun!

When the Gwen Stefani by OPI Collection showed up on my doorstep, I was pretty floored! They are bold and fun and make for great nail art! 7 shades, and I love them all! Let's take a look:

OPI 4 In The Morning: a black satin matte finish polish. This has great coverage and it applied easily. I'm showing 2 coats with no top coat below.

OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby: a gold glittery satin matte polish. This is my favorite of the collection. It applies easily, is almost a one coater, but I'm showing two coats below with no top coat.

OPI Push and Shove: a chrome mirror finish polish. This comes with a complimentary mini base coat called Lay Down That Base and it makes for easier application. I'm showing 2 coats with no top coat below. This shows brush strokes while applying but they practically disappear in front of your eyes while drying. This polish shows any nail flaws, so ridges or peel marks will be easy to spot. I preferred wearing it with nail art over top like in yesterday's post.

OPI I Sing In Color: a vampy blackberry crelly with amazing coverage. I was shocked that it covered evenly in two coats. Super shiny as well, I'm showing two coats below with no top coat.

OPI Hey Baby: a pink creme. This also applied nicely, I'm showing two coats below with no top coat.

OPI In True Stefani Fashion: A clear based glitter topper with holo silver hexes and square shapes. This was dense and easy to apply to the nail. I'm showing one coat over OPI Hey Baby with top coat below.

OPI Over & Over A-Gwen: Gwen Stefani's signature red polish. I love this bright red creme. It is shiny and has a thinner formula, yet it covered wonderfully in two coats. Shown below with no top coat.

Over & Over A-Gwen only comes in a box set. Included is nail glue, and Swarovski Elements studs and gemstones. (Not pictured: an idea booklet for nail art is also included)

There you have them! What do you think? Which are your favorites? Mine are: Love.Angel.Music.Baby,  Over & Over A-Gwen, and Push and Shove.  But I really love them all for different reasons and can see myself using them often.

Thanks so much for reading!

  2. I've really been debating purchasing the entire collection. I bought Push & Shove separately because I couldn't pass it up. But after seeing your beautiful swatches, I think my mind might have changed! Love all of it.

  3. I don't wear much black (clothing or polish) but I really do like 4 in the morning. And it's a two-fer! Topcoat it and the gold microglitter really stands out and gives the polish so much depth; it's really beautiful. I also love, love L.A.M.B. - the polish, not the album (No Doubt, all the way, baby!)

  4. I definitely want Push and Shove! And omg, Love.Angel.Music.Baby... it's like a gold version of This Gown Needs A Crown from the latest Miss Universe collection. I love the silver and I want this one too!!
