Good afternoon, readers! As you saw with my last post, the weather is warming up and that makes me want to wear bright and fun nail art! I decided to do a watermarble with three of the China Glaze Sunsational cremes from last summer. These are bright and water marbled really easily! My most popular blog post is a similar water marble design from 2 years ago, so I hope you all like this color combo as well!

Good morning, readers! Is it warming up yet where you live? It's been hot here in Florida already and this past weekend we got to swim in our pool for the first time this season so YAY! We love to swim and go out on our boat when the weather is warm so I decided to wear some bright and summery nail art using two of the new Brazil by OPI polishes!

I automatically think of gold when it comes to glam so I paired it with one of my favorite Dior polishes: Saint Tropez! I don't own many high end polishes so of course wearing one also adds to the glamorous feeling.

Teal and Copper Reverse Glitter Gradient Nail Art

Good afternoon, readers! I have a quick post of a mani I wore last week and really loved. Elevation Polish The Twinkle In Yeti's Eye (limited edition) is a new favorite polish for me. You may remember this manicure I did for Digit-al Dozen Brands Week. It has a gorgeous color shifting shimmer that is copper in the sun so I wanted to accentuate the copper by adding Ninja Polish Komodo color shifting glitter at the cuticle. I did a reverse gradient (from the cuticle instead of tips) and it was just the right amount of extra to the already gorgeous Elevation.

Hello, readers! I have a new kind of review for you this morning! Nāyll is a new frankening website where you can "design" your own nail polish. They mix it after you pick the ingredients and ship it to you! I was able to create three custom polishes, pick two of their pre made glitter polishes to review, and review two top coats. Tutorial Tuesday: Lava Flow Nail Art VIDEO Tutorial!

Good evening, readers! I wasn't expecting this post to be so late in the day, but I am such a newbie when it comes to video tutorials (this is my VERY FIRST!) I underestimated how long it would take to combine clips together into one video and save, upload to youtube, etc. But I am finished and I hope it's not too bad for a first try!

Good morning, readers! It's the final day of Texture Week with The Digit-al Dozen and I've had so much fun! Today's manicure is a silly one for the Easter holiday weekend starting today with Good Friday. Do you do egg hunts on your lawn for Easter? It's one of the things my kids enjoy doing the most and I am so excited that Owen (almost 2 years old) can participate with Hailey (almost 6 years old) more than last year.

Good morning, readers! Today is Day 4 of Texture with The Digit-al Dozen! I may be stretching the theme a bit too much for this manicure, though. Dew on leaves is certainly 3D, but you can't touch it without flattening out the water droplets. Anyway, I thought I would try to create the same effect using thick top coat and dotting tools.

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Texture, Day 2: Lava Flow Nail Art!

Good morning, readers! I have my second manicure for Texture Week with The Digit-al Dozen to share with you today! I am pretty stoked about how this one came out! I was inspired by some lava rocks in our fire pit that I noticed last night while watching the kids on the playset, but I didn't want to do another "rock" mani after the fossil one yesterday. So a lava flow incorporated the texture of the dried lava rock and the lava as well.

Good morning, readers!! It's time for this month's Digit-al Dozen nail art week and the theme is TEXTURE!! I'm pretty excited about this theme, you know how I love textured manis and I'm brainstorming up some fun ideas.

For today's post, I went a little outside of the box. Instead of going for textured polish (which you know I will probably use this week in a few different ways) I tried to think of things in nature that are textured. My daughter, Hailey, had a school project recently where you put things under your paper (rocks, leaves, etc) and rub a crayon over the paper to see the "fossils." Sounded like a cool concept for nail art, right?

Hello, readers! It's been a crazy week around here so sorry for the lack of posts. Next week is nail art week with The Digit-al Dozen so we can look forward to lots of fun posts starting on Monday! But first, today's post is on the MLB (Major League Baseball) Collection by OPI. I'm not a baseball fan so I'm not sure how these work with some team colors, but I like a lot of the polishes. Three blues, two reds, an orange, and a white shimmer don't seem for an exciting collection, though. I've done comparisons of the similar shades at the bottom of the post so make sure you check those out and find which colors work best for your favorite team.
