Good afternoon, readers! For this week's Swatch Saturday post, I have 2 of the new Deborah Lippmann Painted Desert Collection polishes for Summer 2015. This collection is all about the earthiness of the desert and consists of 4 full coverage cremes. See the press release below along with swatches of the 2 I received for review.
This summer, travel with deborah lippmann on an exotic journey deep into the Sahara where the sun blazes, the sky glows and the sand swelters. This collection of four full coverage nail lacquers is your ticket to explore the vast, arid terrain. Each shade reflects the desert’s remarkable beauty and rich, earthy landscape.
I love how different this collection is from most "summer" collection we are seeing pop up all over the place. The earthy neutrals are a nice change, and will pair well with brights in nail art as well. The formula was flawless, I have no issues to report. Let's take a look at Terra Nova and Desert Moon.
Deborah Lippmann Terra Nova
A full coverage, warm camel creme.
I am showing two easy coats below with top coat.
The formula was fantastic! I was really happy with the application.
Deborah Lippmann Desert Moon
A full coverage, pebble grey creme.
I'm showing two coats below with top coat.
As with Terra Nova, the formula was wonderful and I had no issues.
What are your thoughts on this Deborah Lippmann Painted Desert Collection? I really loved the formula and ease of application. The color palette is a nice break from the brights right now and I like the inspiration. Thank you so much for reading! Have a great weekend.
Available May 2015 (SRP: $18.00 each) online at www.deborahlippmann.com and at
Barneys New York, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Sephora stores nationwide.

Interesting, but they sure don't say summer to me. They all look like fall colors. Bleh.
