Gradient: Rainbow Honey, The Summer of 199X!

Good morning, readers! Today is the release day for the new Rainbow Honey Summer of 199X Collection! I was sent three of the new colors to review and I'm showing you how I wore them! I figured that you would already be seeing tons of swatches so this is a little more fun for me!

Here is some info on the new collection:

"Rainbow Honey is pleased to present its newest collection, Summer of 199X - featuring 10 new colors inspired by the 1995 SNES hit, Earthbound.

"Another video game that holds a special place in my heart! I wanted this collection to bring me back into the game, and I think each new lacquer takes me to a special moment or reminds me of a certain boss that resulted in one too many Game Over's... Part I is made up of 5 new glitterbombs bursting with shimmer and color - they all layer to opacity but can be used over other colors as well. Part II is 3 new shimmer-dusted cremes and 2 new glitter toppers that give each creme a bold or sweet look. I am so excited to add these all to our lineup!" – Dee"

I was sent three gorgeous polishes from Part II and couldn't be happier with the ones they chose to send me! (Please note: my bottles are the mini 4ml size bottles. The photo on my box above shows what the full size bottles look like)

Tessie, I Miss You, and Mint Flavor.

Here is how I wore these new colors! Tessie and Mint Flavor got their own nails and then I did a gradient of the two on the accent nails, topped with I Miss You. All swatches are shown with top coat.

Tessie: "No need to join the Tessie-Watching Club when you can have this dusty and shimmery periwinkle creme at your fingertips." Tessie is my favorite of the three and it applied beautifully! Two easy coats with top coat shown above. The shimmer is gorgeous!

Mint Flavor: "Part aqua, part baby blue, part shimmer, this was hands down the best window flavor. Because...you taste windows, right?" Mint Flavor is another beauty and I can't get over the shimmer! So gorgeous! I'm showing three coats with top coat above. It was a little patchy with the first two so the third coat smoothed it out pretty well.

I Miss You: "A pastel rainbow of glitters and shimmer, these butterflies are sure to cure the homesick traveler." I Miss You is such a pretty and delicate combo of glitters and shimmer! I can't wait to wear this over more colors. I'm showing 1 1/2 coats on top of the gradient. The glitter came out easily but I did dab on a few bigger glitters after the first coat. Shown with top coat above.

What do you think of these gorgeous new polishes? And tell me your thoughts on this kind of review post instead of the usual full hand swatches of each color? I have more fun wearing the polishes this way! Thanks for reading!

Dandy Nails Week, Day 5: Sticky Sweet!

Good morning, readers! It's the final day of our Dandy Nails week. I hope you've enjoyed the new polishes I've shown you so far from this new collection. (Note: there was one more polish released with this set that was LE, and there aren't any left to purchase. It was called Creep and Crawl and you can check out Ashley's post HERE if you want to see it!) Here are the links to the other 4 polishes I've shown this week:

Waste Away With Me
Choke on a Kiss
The Pink Ladies
Betrayed Desires

Sticky Sweet is an "orange/Creamsicle polish packed with multicolored glitter (orange, yellow, red, blue). " It applied easily and I only needed 2 coats to full coverage. Shown below with top coat. There is a ton of shimmer in this polish!  Hailey told me my nails looked like cupcake frosting with sprinkles on them when she saw these!

Hello, shimmer!

Dandy Nails Week, Day 4: Betrayed Desires!

Good morning, readers! If you haven't been following yet this week, we are in the middle of a Dandy Nails marathon of sorts. I have 5 of the new polishes to share with you and today I'll be showing the 4th one. Here are the past 3 posts if you missed any and want to catch up:

Waste Away With Me
Choke on a Kiss
The Pink Ladies

Today's post is on Betrayed Desires. Betrayed Desires is a dark gray-blue holographic polish. The color is gorgeous and I was quite happy to see that it was very blue toned and not just another dark gray holographic. Blue toned grays are more flattering on my skintone. It is a bit of a color changer because it looks gray or blue depending on the lighting. This is 2 easy coats with top coat. No issues to report!

I loved this so much when I put it on! What do you think of it?

You can purchase this for $8(15 mL) at the Dandy Nails Etsy Shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DandyNails

The Pink Ladies was "inspired and named by Michelle at Things I Love At The Moment! This pink polish with pink shimmer is packed with pink and black glitter and large black dots." I'm showing two easy coats below with top coat. The shimmer is so pretty and I feel very girly wearing this one.

Dandy Nails Week, Day 2: Choke on a Kiss!

Good morning, readers! It's Monday, ugh. But, I have a fun glitter topper from Dandy Nails to cheer you up! This was the polish from the new collection that I wanted the most! If you missed out on yesterday's post, we are in a 5 day "week" of new Dandy Nails polishes! Go check out yesterday's post as well!

Choke on a Kiss is a "pink shimmery base packed with multi sized pink, gray, and black glitters." I'm showing one coat over yesterday's Waste Away With Me! I love this pairing! It is packed with enough glitter to only need one coat, which I love! Also, the application was really easy and I didn't dig or dab on any glitter to place it where I wanted it to go. Shown with one coat of top coat.

What do you think of this glitter topper? I really like it and can't wait to try out some new combos with it!

You can purchase this for $8(15 mL) at the Dandy Nails Etsy Shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DandyNails
