Golden Dragon Nails!

Good morning, readers! Okay, so my title may have been misleading. I didn't actually do golden dragon nail art. Instead, I've added golden accents over Chanel Dragon.

I recently won Dragon from Ashley Is PolishAddicted's 2 Year Blogiversary Giveaway! I was so shocked and excited because I didn't have any Chanel polishes yet. Wow wow wow! I was honestly in awe at the amazing formula, coverage, and application. I didn't think there could be that big of a difference between pricier polish brands and the local Ulta carried brands, but I was wrong. So wrong. Flawless. I can't speak for any other Chanels but this was gorgeous and amazing and I am still so psyched to have won it. Thanks SO MUCH Ashley!!!

So as I was putting on 2 coats (1 was enough coverage, just a habit) of Dragon, I realized that it made me feel to glamorous. There is just something about a classic red creme polish. I decided to add some gold accents to accentuate the glamor. I first applied one coat of Cirque Colors Au, a 23K gold leaf top coat. Doesn't get much more glamorous than real gold on your nails, right? I also decided to add some gold circle studs for a little added something. I topped everything with HKGirl top coat because I wanted the studs to stick around for a few days while I enjoyed this mani!

What do you think? I like that the gold didn't cover up Dragon too much. Thanks so much for reading!
