The Digit-al Dozen DOES Decades, Day 2: Groovy Flower Power Watermarble Nail Art!

Good morning! Are you ready for day 2 of Decades Week with The Digit-al Dozen? Today's mani was inspired by the flower power, rainbow colored, 60s! It was really easy to make rainbow colored flowers by water marbling so that's exactly what I did!

I followed my usual steps to do a flower design on the water surface when water marbling. You can see my old tutorial on this technique here. 

• First, I painted one coat of OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana and let dry. 
• Then, I painted some vaseline around my nails to make cleanup easier.
• The colors I used for the watermarble: Zoya Rooney, Zoya Rocha, OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana, Zoya Tilda, Zoya Ling, and OPI Funky Dunkey.
• I used a large dotting tool and OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana to add a dot to the center of each flower.
• I topped them all with Seche Vite top coat.

My flowers look different because even though I kept the colors in the same order, I varied where I started in the line up. For instance, on one nail I started with pink and went all the way down the rainbow to purple. For the next nail, I started at yellow and went down the rainbow to purple, and started back at pink and then orange before using yellow again. I also varied where on the flower design that I dipped my nail.
