Press Release
Good morning, readers! I have an exciting post for you today! On November 1st, KBShimmer is releasing the Winter 2014 Collection. I have 7 of the polishes to share with you today! There are 16 total: 11 new and 5 re-released colors. I already showed you Spot Sign a couple of days ago. Let's take a look at the other 7 I was sent to review!
KBShimmer Dressed To Gild
This textured polish is rich with holographic gold glitters. Hints of lavender and lime glitters add depth and extra shine.
I'm showing two coats below with no top coat. For the textured polishes, remember to let the first coat dry completely before adding the next.
KBShimmer Turnip The Beet
A rich sangria colored base accents holographic glitters in magenta, purple, and red.
I'm showing two coats below with no top coat.
KBShimmer Too Cold To Hold
A rich sapphire blue base is filled with holographic silver, blue, and green glitters for a bejeweled textured look.
I'm showing two coats below with no top coat.
KBShimmer White Here, White Now
This snowy white polish is a blustery addition to our textured collection.
I'm showing two coats below with no top coat.
KBShimmer Fallen Angle
A vibrant royal blue jelly, this a-cute polish features holographic blue triangles, silver holo hexes, and blue hex glitters with micro sparkles.
I'm showing three coats below with top coat. Loving the triangles!
KBShimmer Snow Way!
This snow inspired polish features a pale, sky blue crelly base with white glitters while micro sparkles glisten like fallen snow on a clear winters day.
I'm showing three coats below with top coat.
This is one of the returning fan favorites from the past!
KBShimmer Flake Dance
Silver holographic snowflakes dance among a scattering of smaller silver holographic glitters.
I'm showing one coat with top coat over Hugs & Wishes.
I had to place a few snow flakes but it was worth it!
What are your thoughts on the new Winter 2014 Collection by KBShimmer? Are any of these on your must-have list? I'm loving them all, especially the textures!
These release on November 1st and will retail for $8.75 each. There is also a Toys For Toys charity polish available. $4 from each sale of that will be donated so make sure to check out Cosmetic Sanctuary for swatches of that!

*The polishes in this post were sent for me to review with my honest opinion.
This collection looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful swatches, as always! :D
ReplyDeleteI need Flake Dance and Dressed To Gild for sure! Each polish in this collection is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOmg! The Dressed To Gild is a must but I'm also loving the White Here, White Now, although it's quite similar to There's Snow One Like You by China Glaze. Can't wait :)
ReplyDeleteUgh, why does KBShimmer always come up with so many pretty polishes? I have a hard time picking my favorites. I'd probably go with Too Cold To Hold and Fallen Angle. Also, I really like your macro shots. May I ask how you get them so crisp?
ReplyDeleteI second this! Would love to know your technique in producing great macro shots. Your swatches are beautiful as always!
DeleteThank you both so much! For my macro shots, I first put my camera in the macro setting and adjust the exposure so they aren't too dark. Then, I have my finger resting on the surface AND the camera sits flat on the surface. They aren't crisp if I try to hover with my camera, that's why I just adjust my finger angle so the camera can get the finger in focus while still having the stability of the camera on the flat surface. Hope that helps!!
DeleteToo Cold to Hold and Snow Way are my faves here!
