Teal and Copper Reverse Glitter Gradient Nail Art

Good afternoon, readers! I have a quick post of a mani I wore last week and really loved. Elevation Polish The Twinkle In Yeti's Eye (limited edition) is a new favorite polish for me. You may remember this manicure I did for Digit-al Dozen Brands Week. It has a gorgeous color shifting shimmer that is copper in the sun so I wanted to accentuate the copper by adding Ninja Polish Komodo color shifting glitter at the cuticle. I did a reverse gradient (from the cuticle instead of tips) and it was just the right amount of extra to the already gorgeous Elevation.

Bright Gradient With OPI Brazil!

Good morning, readers! This is a quick post showing you what I have on my nails right now! After the comparison photos from my post of the bright colored half of OPI Brazil, I realized that Where Did Suzi's Mango?, Toucan Do It If You Try, and Live.Love.Carnaval would make a gorgeous gradient. After the success of my attempt at the fan brush gradient earlier this week, I decided to use the same technique for these and the base turned out super fun!

Digit-al Dozen DOES Geek Day 2: Eureka Nail Art!

Hello, readers! A little late in the evening for today's challenge post, but that's how it goes with little kids in the house! Owen started crawling a few days ago so he is all over the place! No more nail polishing when he is awake, I have to constantly keep an eye on him.

It's day 2 of Geek Week with the Digit-al Dozen! Today's geeky tv show inspiration is Eureka! Another favorite of our Netflix tv shows, I highly recommend watching it! I'm so sad that it ended last year.

For my nail art, I decided to do my interpretation of  "The Artifact." The Artifact is a big deal in this town of genius scientists, here is a little wiki info for you:

"The Artifact is a living organism, like a biological computer, and gives off massive amounts of energy that make it dangerous for anyone to approach it. The Artifact exists outside of space-time and is nearly invulnerable to physical damage."

They barely ever show the actual artifact throughout the series because it is under serious lock down for safety reasons in the Global Dynamics research facility.  I'll show a picture I found online and a few screen shots I did on the computer while watching. Basically, it is a rainbow of shifting colors with sparkle and swirling loops. (In fact, you should just go start watching the series and see it better for yourself!) These pictures are from a scene where they sent a rover-type robot in to take a sample of the artifact.

I chose to wear three coats of Ninja Polish Divinity, an amazing and sparkly multi chrome polish to represent the sparkling color changing artifact. I topped it off with some freehand swirls and loops with Liquidus Pearl.

Look at all of the amazing colors in Ninja Polish Divinity!

What do you think of this interpretation of Eureka's Artifact? And how about the gorgeous Ninja Polish Divinity?

You can get Divinity at the Ninja Polish website below:

Thanks for reading! Come back tomorrow for another geeky post!

Ninja Polish Nebula!

Hello, readers! It's been a few days since I've had a post up, would you believe I just took off my finger paint manicure today? It was barely chipped! I can't believe the wear time I got with that--4 days! I didn't have time for nail art tonight but wanted to try out some of my new polishes so I did a simple accent nail manicure. I love how sparkly it is!

Zoya Aurora is gorgeous and makes a wonderful base color for Ninja Polish Nebula! I chose to leave some accent nails of just Aurora because it was too pretty to completely cover up. Ninja Polish Nebula is super awesome as well! Multichrome AND scattered holo glitters?! Check it out!

Ninja Polish Nebula macro. I see tons of colors: gold, orange, pink, purple, blue, and teal!

Macro of Zoya Aurora. Look at those holo specks!

A fun, gorgeous, bottle shot of Nebula!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of Zoya Aurora
3 coats of Ninja Polish Nebula
1 coat of Poshe top coat

What do you think of these two new polishes? Do you have them already?

Ninja Polish Nebula is $9 and is currently in stock at Ninja Polish! Click HERE to buy yours!

Zoya Aurora is $8 and is currently in stock at Zoya.com. Click HERE to buy yours!
