Nfu-Oh Jelly Syrup Mani!

Good  morning, readers! I finally got to try out the other 2 Nfu-Oh Jelly Syrup polishes I bought a little while back, and am wondering why on earth I waited this long? They are amazing! More opaque than JS29, and the pastel colors are great! I couldn't decide which to wear first so I did a mani with both!

Of course I had to do a jelly sandwich mani with them, and decided that Sea Lore Ariel would be great since it matched both jellies. I was not disappointed!

Awkward pose, but wanted to show my double accent nails.

The flakes in Ariel are such an awesome added bonus!

I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of JS13 and JS16
1 coat of Sea Lore Ariel
1 coat of each JS13 and JS16
NYC Grand Central Station top coat

What do you think? I could have gotten away with 1 coat of the jellies, one coat of glitter, and one last coat of jelly and it would have been more apparent that they were jellies but I like how this turned out! The pastel jelly syrups give a cloudy look over the glitter and I like how different it is. I definitely want more Nfu-Oh Jelly Syrups now! Thanks for reading!

Dr.'s Remedy BCA Polish Swatches!

Hello readers! Remember my press release of the new Dr.'s Remedy Breast Cancer Awareness polishes a little while back? Well, I have them and am showing them to you today!

Dr's Remedy is putting pink in the spotlight this October. Dr.'s Remedy leads the way in the fight for the cause by teaming up with Living Beyond Breast Cancer, whose mission is to empower all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life. They are donating proceeds to Living Beyond Breast Cancer in October from the sales of these three pink shades.

We have Purity, Nuture, and Hopeful:

Purity is "a ballet slipper; sheer hue." It is a very pretty sheer pink that would be great for french manicures or  for someone who prefers the look of natural nails. I am showing three coats with no top coat. It applied easily and I like that it made my slightly stained nails look prettier while still natural. I bet it would be fun for jelly sandwich manicures!

Nurture is "a damsel-in-distress, barely there beautiful." It's a pink toned nude with a pink shimmer that I couldn't capture on camera. You can barely see it at the top of the bottle in the picture below. It's much more noticeable in person. It took me three coats to be completely evened out but applied easily. I love the added shimmer, making this nude not so flat.

Lastly, Hopeful is "a Hello Kitty meets bubble gum shade." I love this pink! It was a dream to apply and went on in 2 easy coats. It's almost squishly like a jelly polish, but is a creme. Very shiny as well, I'm showing with no top coat.

What do you think of these three colors? Which is your favorite?

Dr.'s Remedy is a line of doctor-inspired cosmetics that is dedicated to using clean, hypo-allergenic ingredients. Pomegranate Lacquer Polishes!

Good morning, readers! I have 2 gorgeous polishes from Pomegranate Lacquer to show you today! Like the name states, it's "fresh, juicy color!" Pomegranate Lacquers are 4 free, containing no toluene, formaldehyde, DBP, or camphor. They are also Cruelty Free(CF) and made in the USA. I'm new to this brand and was really happy with the colors and application. Both only needed 2 coats and had no application issues.

First up we have a Fall 2012 Collection color perfect for the season: Autumnesque. I chose to do a glitter gradient over Autumnesque with Shimmer Carmen because the glitter matched the shimmer in Autumnesque and I love how they turned out! On their site, Autumnesque is described as "a copper polish with golden shimmer that reflects russet leaves, apple cider, and all that is best about fall." I completely agree! Shown with top coat.

Look at the shimmer in the bottle!

Next up I have Blue Screen of Death. Such a great name! This is from the LCD Collection and I'm a sucker for blues so I had to choose this one! It's described as "A bright blue jelly with turquoise shimmer." I was excited that this was a blue jelly, and the added shimmer makes it appear opaque enough in only 2 coats! Lovely! I decided to just wear this on it's own. It's very vibrant! Shown with topcoat.

I definitely love these colors and want to get more of this brand! What do you think? Have you tried Pomegranate Nail Lacquer before?

These bottles retail for $9 each and can be purchased at their site here: http://www.pomegranatelacquer.com/

Right now, they have a clearance section with half off their summer colors here: http://www.pomegranatelacquer.com/collections/clearance

Also, something fun going on right now is their Halloween Treat Bags! For $15, "each bag is assembled spookily by hand and contains one bottle of Persimmon, one bottle of Curator, sweet treats and seasonal decorations." You can find those here: http://www.pomegranatelacquer.com/products/halloween

Pomegranate Lacquer ships only to the USA at this time, and shipping on orders of $27 or more are free!
