Good afternoon! As promised, this week's tutorial is the Beach Ball Half Moons I wore last Thursday. These seem fairly simple to recreate (I was able to do them on all 10 nails) and they are perfect for a "not so typical" summer mani! The use of half moon guide stickers make this even easier than it looks.

Summer Nail Art: Beach Ball Half Moons!
Previous
Press Sample
Good morning! Is Summer in full swing where you are? It definitely is here, we've been spending our weekends out on the boat at the sand bar, or in our pool and it's lovely! I was trying to come up with some kind of summer nail art and as my kids were throwing beach balls around the house yesterday, it hit me! (Okay, a ball didn't literally hit me, but the idea did.) Partial beach balls with the illusion of a half moon mani! These weren't too difficult so expect a tutorial for the next Tutorial Tuesday post!

Zoya Tickled and Bubbly Tape Mani!
Press Sample
Good morning, readers! Yesterday, both of the new Zoya Ticked and Bubbly Collections arrived at my doorstep and they are super fun! I knew I wouldn't have time to get them all swatched for you for today, but I had to try them out! I noticed that almost every polish in the Tickled Collection had a "coordinating" Bubbly shade so I grabbed Rooney and Binx for this mani. The Bubbly colors can be worn alone or layered over another color, so that's what I'm showing you today!

The Lacquer Legion, Adoration: Textured Chevron Tape Mani!
Press Sample
Good morning, readers! It's time for the monthly nail art challenge with The Lacquer Legion and this month's prompt is "adoration." You can go to The Lacquer Legion on Facebook for more info on how to join in! I was having a difficult time with this prompt and realized I was over complicating things. Instead of focusing on nail art for the many people and things in my life I adore, I took it down to the basics of some of the things I adore in nail art! Textured polishes, tape manis, turquoise, purple, and one of my fellow nail art bloggers I adore the most: Sarah from Chalkboard Nails!

Dress Inspired Nail Art!
Nail art inspiration happens all the time with lots of different things. This time, it was this gorgeous dress from Light In The Box that my friend Kim shared and I knew instantly that I would love this color combo on my nails! I set out to do the awesome top half of the dress (as you see on the left hand side of the collage below), but I fell in love with the fan brush gradient on my tips and decided to take that off and do a full mani as the gradient instead (shown on the right side of the collage below).

Dior Day! Half Moon Mani: Dior Bouquet and Dior Perlé!
Press Sample
Good evening, readers! This is a late post for me, but a group of friends decided that we should all wear Dior polish today and blog it together. I ordered 2 of the new Diors and I was so happy to see they were out for delivery today! So once they came in the mail, I had to start my mani much later in the day. But I made it!

GOT Polish + The Digit-al Dozen DOES Monochrome, Day 4: Purple Zigzag Reciprocal Gradient!
Press Sample
Good morning, readers! I have a triple post for today: this week's GOT Polish Challenge, Digit-al Dozen Monochrome Day 4, and another review for Sticky Nails stencils! Are you ready? Did you see yesterday's post with a different Sticky Nails guide? Go check it out!
Today's mani was challenging for me. First, I knew I had to keep the polishes in the same color family. Second, I had to pick colors that were older than a year in my stash. Lastly, I wanted to show another shape of tape guide from Sticky Nails. So I ended up with zigzag stripes and a reciprocal gradient with Zoya Monica and Milani Violet Dash. I did a reciprocal gradient back during Tape Week with The Digit-al Dozen, and I loved it so much I wanted to try again. Globe & Nail has an awesome tutorial so check that out if you want to know where I got the idea and how to do it yourself!

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Monochrome, Day 3: Blue Gradient and Textured Chevrons!
Press Sample
Good morning, readers! Are you enjoying Monochrome Week with The Digit-al Dozen? I've feeling very meh this week but am trying. AND I broke a nail! AHH! It was SO low, I had to cut and file the others down so the rest of the week will be mega shorties :(
Today's post is a fun review of a new product for me: Sticky Nails nail design stencils. You all know I'm a big fan of using striping tape to make fun nail art designs and these are BETTER than striping tape! They are shaped and make for really fun designs without needing artistic skill.
