The Digit-al Dozen DOES Winter Wonderland, Day 3: Abstract Blizzard

Good afternoon, readers! It's Day 3 of Winter Wonderland Week with The Digit-al Dozen and I've gone very wintery with this manicure. I'm calling it Abstract Blizzard because of the swirls and mixing of white and blues. Thankfully, I have never been in a blizzard, but I'm sure some of you have! Nicole from Nail Polish Wars posted a similar design yesterday and I just had to try it in wintery colors for this challenge once I saw it!

I followed Nicole's instructions in the post linked above.
  • First, I painted 3 coats of OPI What's With The Cattitude? as my base and topped that with one coat of HKGirl top coat to help it dry.
  • Once it was completely dry, I dabbed random blobs of OPIs Alpine Snow, Road House Blues, and What's With The Cattitude? over my nail.
  • While the polish blobs were still wet, I pressed a ziplock back onto the nail and smushed/twisted a bit to get the colors to blend.
  • Once I cleaned up the skin with acetone, I topped with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

What do you think? I will be trying this technique a zillion times with different colors in the future for sure! Thanks so much for reading. Come back tomorrow for Day 4 of Winter Wonderland.
