The Digit-al Dozen DOES Black and White Day 4: Crisscross Texture Gradient, Revisited.

Hello, readers!! As promised, these last 2 designs for Digit-al Dozen Black and White Week are not Doctor Who inspired. Instead, I've decided to revisit some of my own tutorials and choose colors that fit in with this week's theme!

For today's design, I revisited the Crisscross Texture Gradient Tutorial found here. It is still one of my favorite manis ever and I enjoyed redoing it. I do, however, still like the original color scheme better.

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Black and White, Day 1: Killer Snowmen!

This post
 has a previous

Good morning, readers! Happy Veterans Day to all of you out there, especially to Mr. Adventures In Acetone- I am so blessed to have you for a husband, best friend, and father to our babies!

It's Black and White week with The Digit-al Dozen! This was a challenging week for me, and as of today, I'm only half way done with my designs. I have some ideas for the last 2, so I hope they work out.

Today's post is another evil character found in one of our favorite shows: Doctor Who! These are the killer snowmen from the Christmas special called The Snowmen. I had a hard time thinking of non-snowy scenes for this theme week so at least I made it a bit creepy. Ha!

1 Million Pageviews Giveaway!!

Hello, readers!! Today's post is really exciting for me, and I just wanted to thank you all so much for following my blog, Facebook, instagram, pinterest, or where ever else you've seen my nail art and supported me over the past couple of years. Never did I realize my silly nail art hobby would grow so much over the last 2.5 years and that I would have so many followers and page views. On October 29th, I hit 1 million pageviews here on Adventuresinacetone.com and couldn't have been more excited! High follower numbers are certainly wonderful, but I feel like if no one is actually coming to my blog and reading my posts, the time I take writing them and uploading multiple pictures isn't worth it. I've decided to have a giveaway in celebration!!

Tutorial Tuesday: Zebra Nail Art!

Good afternoon, readers! Happy Tuesday! Tuesdays around here mean a new step by step tutorial post for you to recreate one of my older free hand nail art designs. I urge you to click on the Tutorials tab at the top of my blog to see previous tutorials!

Today's design was from the middle of September and I'm not sure why I haven't done the tutorial until now. It may be one of my FAVORITE tutorials I've done yet!! I hope you like it as much as I do and try it for yourself! The easiest thing I find about nail art is that I break down each step into a shape and it makes it so much easier to do!

Below is a preview of this tutorial. You will find full sized pictures and step by step instructions further down in this post.

Fancy Half Moon Mani!

Good morning, readers! Today's post is a quick one showing a mani I wore a few weeks ago but didn't have a chance to make it to the blog yet. I just love Rebecca from Rebecca Likes Nails so when I heard the news that she had been able to make her own collaboration shade with Picture Polish, I was so excited! And, the color is so pretty I just HAD to buy it as soon as it went on sale. I ordered from OverallBeauty.com and threw in a Picture Polish Jade while I was looking through the Picture Polish section. It's been on my radar for a while and I am really glad I ordered it when I ordered Siren Song because I loved how they looked together!

Bold Leopard Print Nail Art!

Good morning, readers! If you've been following along with us Digit-al Dozen ladies for the past year, you'll know that the sweet and very talented Leslie from Work Play Polish was also part of our group. She has decided that the direction we are headed isn't one she can join along for and has stepped down to continue on her own blogging path. We are going to miss her tons and are sad to see her leave. Today is a very special post day dedicated to Leslie!
