Saint George Gets An Attitude Adjust-Mint!

Good morning, readers!! I have another Lynnderella to show you today, but instead of just showing a swatch, I added some nail art that I am LOVING!

Ever since I saw this mani from The Nailasaurus in the Cult Nails contest, I knew I wanted to try it one day. Well, today ended up being the day and I can't stop looking at my nails! It's so simple and yet one of my favorite stamping manis to date.

First, let's see the subtle beauty that is Lynnderella Attitude Adjust-mint. This is 2 coats over 2 coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mint Sorbet. I really love the shimmer in this polish. You may need to enlarge the picture to see the shimmer on them.

And onto the added nail art that made me love this mani so much more:

What do you think? I had no idea that Saint George would stamp SO well. I need to try out my other A-Englands for stamping soon! I also really want to try to add things to stamp designs like this because I love how this looks so much! Thanks for reading

Tronica and A-England Comparisons!

Hello readers!! I don't often do comparison posts but after seeing the 3 colors of China Glaze Tronica polishes I got the other day, I realized they were similar to my 3 A-Englands! Apparently I have a thing for teals, blues, and purples. Haha. As my friend Ashley from Ashley Is PolishAddicted pointed out, you wouldn't have possibly guessed that from my blog header or page colors.

China Glaze Hi Def, A-England Tristam, China Glaze Virtual Violet, A-England Lady Of The Lake, China Glaze Techno Teal, and A-England Saint George.

In the bottles, the only ones that seem very different are the 2 teals right? Well look at how different they all are on the nail!

First up we have China Glaze Hi Def and A-England Tristam:

Index and ring finger: 2 coats of ChG Hi Def, middle and pinky: 2 coats of A-E Tristam.

Look how light the China Glaze transfers onto the nail! I was shocked when putting that one on. It seems that the China Glaze got lighter than the bottle and the A-England may have even gotten darker. They both have scattered holographic particles as well. At least they look pretty together!

Next up we have China Glaze Virtual Violet and A-England Lady Of The Lake:

Index and ring finger: 2 coats of ChG Virtual Violet, middle and pinky: 2 coats of A-E Lady Of The Lake.

Again, the China Glaze is much lighter than the bottle! Seems like China Glaze got sneaky with these Tronicas. Both of these have a good amount of scattered holographic particles and were gorgeous to see in the sun!

Our last comparison. China Glaze Techno Teal and A-England Saint George(2 of my most recent favorites):

Index and ring finger: 2 coats of ChG Techno Teal, middle and pinky: 2 coats of A-E Saint George.

This one wasn't that big of a surprise but I really wanted to see them together. They are just so gorgeous!!

As for some more information on comparing: the A-Englands had a much better formula. They all wanted to be 1 coaters but St. George is the only one that could possibly be a one coater for me. The China Glazes definitely needed 2 coats and they had some dragging if you tried to go back over a wet spot. That being said, I am still so glad I have all of these in my collection. They are beautiful and I love the scattered holo added into these colors to give them that bit of extra "jazz."

If you are looking for these, the A-Englands can still be purchased from the Llarowe website or directly from  the A-England site. The China Glazes, however, will be harder for you to get your hands on. Ebay and blog sales will be your best bet for finding them.

Day 13: A-England St George!

Hello readers! I've been dying to try this polish out since I received it from Llarowe! But, once I put it in my stash list and saw that it came to #3, I waited to use for today's challenge. This is today's challenge:

"Your youngest child's age- find that number on your polish list."

Hailey is still 3 for another month so you get to see the gorgeous a-england St George instead of my #4(Avon Nail Brightener) LOL!

Saint George on the a-england site is described as "Bearer of a valiant & courageous heart, this fathomless teal reveals the strength of the brave knight's convictions with his gleaming, fiery core."

I just need to share this very important fact with you on a-england Saint George:

THIS IS ONE COAT!

Can you believe that? Just one coat and this is the coverage you get. Such amazing pigmentation in this polish. I love one coat polishes! They usually are great for stamping(which I will soon try) and you also get to preserve the gorgeous polish without using it up in half or a third of the time. Call me a very happy customer. And this is just GORGEOUS! Absolutely a new favorite color.

Ozotic 513 + Stamping!

Hello readers! I'm taking another little break from the challenge because I recieved my Llarowe order on Saturday of Ozotic 513 and a-england St. George! I really wanted to try them out! I picked Ozotic 513 first and wore it alone on Sunday for our family day outside and walking along the beach while the sun was out. IT IS GORGEOUS! Today, I decided to add a little to it. :)

Here is Ozotic 513 by itself. I honestly can see even more crazy wild holo-ness in person than my camera can capture. I am really loving this polish!

Here is a picture of where I added a stamp using Pure Ice Silver Mercedes and dots with a-england St. George!

I used:

What do you think? I think I need to get my hands on a silver holo that is able to stamp. I think I'd have loved it even more if the silver was holo. :)

Paisley Nails!

Hello readers! I feel like it's been ages since I've posted a stamp nail design so I am happy to do this post today! I've been wanting the Konad paisley design stamp plate for the longest time and when I found out that Born Pretty had a dupe(and it was on sale a few weeks ago!) I snatched it up! I couldn't wait to use it and am not disappointed!

I had to try out the gorgeous new blue OPI that Ashley got me(as seen in yesterday's haul post) so I decided that would be the base color. It was pretty enough to be left on it's own, though! I wish I'd taken a pic to show you just the blue before the stamping.

I used:
Base Coat of OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
2 Coats of OPI No Room For The Blues
Sally Hansen Color Quick Chrome Pen in Fuchsia Chrome and Born Pretty Plate m60
Flower detail dot in a-englad Lady of the Lake
Dot detail in butter LONDON British Racing Green
Top Coat of Poshe

This was the first time I stamped with the Sally Hansen Chrome polish pen and love the coverage! I think I grabbed this on clearance a while back and am now wishing I'd grabbed some more colors. Also, I can't wait for my nubbin nails to grow back out. I was keeping them shorter over the holidays when I was too busy to keep up with them and now I miss my longer nails! Grow grow grow!!

Day 19: Galaxies

Good morning everyone and thank you for stopping by my blog! Today's challenge was Galaxy Nails and I was a bit nervous about this one. Thankfully, though, it's a lot easier than I thought and I ended up loving it MUCH more than those half moon nails yesterday! It was a lot of different colors and glitters sponged on with a ripped up makeup triangle and I don't even think my pictures do it justice. Much prettier in person because the different angles show the different types of glitters.

Day 18: Half Moons

Good morning readers! Today for the challenge, I had to do a half moon mani. I, personally, have never even wanted to try this because I'm not a fan of the trend. I did it for the challenge, but I didn't like it when I was done and probably won't do it again. Here is a picture for you to see anyway:

Top color: a-england Tristam (using circle reinforcement stickers)
