Good morning, readers! I recently received some awesome stamping plates from Messy Mansion to review for you, so today's post is the first of many that you will see in the near future using this plate: MM14.
For today's look, I used the Distressed Nail Art Tutorial by Chalkboard Nails, but skipped the top layer of black and instead stamped on the feather image from Messy Mansion plate MM14.
Here is a photo I took of the plate itself, I've added some arrows to show you which design I am using for this mani:
(peekaboo, I see you!)
I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales walls as a white base and used the dry brush technique in the above linked tutorial to apply all 6 polishes from the OPI Shrek Forever After Collection! I love how it turned out.
What do you think of this stamp image? This plate by Messy Mansion was easy to use, the images were etched nicely and I have nothing negative to say about it. I've noticed in my close up shot that there are some missing spots in the feather details but I don't have special stamping polishes (I've used Wet n Wild Black Creme here) so that may be the reason. Regardless, I love how these turned out. I also like how unique the bird theme is on the plate. I can't wait to show you the rest of the manis I've done the past couple of weeks!
Messy Mansion plates can be purchased at the website below and this plate is $7.00.
Shipping is from Australia but it is very reasonable to ship all over, $2.50 for 6 plates sent air mail.
Thanks so much for reading!
