Swatch Saturday: Jolie Polish Crellies

Press Sample

Good morning, readers! Guess what? I have tons of new polishes to share with you for my swatching weekends. It was so strange to not have anything in my review pile for the past 2 weekends. I have some holiday collections rolling in this week so stay tuned for those.

For today, I have three crelly polishes to share with you from Jolie Polish. Crelly polishes are a hybrid formula of jellies and cremes. Basically, you need a few layers to hide the visible nail line, but they have a cloudiness that jellies don't have. They can be especially great if you use them for layering (which I will show you below). Let's take a look:

Ikat Chevron Nail Art!

Good afternoon, readers! It's been a few days, hasn't it? I've been low on nail art inspiration lately, but I started stalking instagram this week and found a ton of great things to recreate! Today's design was inspired by this post by Very Emily. She has some really fun nail art and I am sure I'll find more to try! It was harder than I anticipated to get the three colors of similar width, and you can see that I wasn't completely successful. However, I am super in love with this color combo and I'm really enjoying this as a full mani.

Extending Your Mani With Stamping!

Good morning, readers! On Thursday, I showed you my version of Watercolor Gradient Nails. I loved that mani so much and didn't want to take it off for the entire weekend! However, I did have tip wear and a couple of minor chips by Saturday (I just can't keep polish on my nails for more than a couple of days without it chipping or peeling off, ever.) so I tried to figure out a way to continue wearing the mani throughout the weekend.

Mesa Sunrise Watercolor Gradient Nail Art!

Good afternoon, readers! I saw a really cool tutorial by The Nailasaurus this week for a "Watercolor Gradient" and I just had to try it! My color combo is a bit reminiscent of a mesa sunrise so after a friend pointed that out to me, I figured it was a great title! I just love how the minty teal colors blend together, but the added pop of coral really makes me love it! This technique is easy enough to do on every nail and would work with so many different color combinations.

Ombre Dot Half Moon Pond Mani!

That's a full title, isn't it? I have a lot going on in today's nail art and it didn't turn out exactly as I'd hoped, but it's still a neat concept that I plan to perfect in the future. Zoya Katherine and Zoya Frida were the jelly polishes used, and I prefer the look with Katherine most even though the half moon part disappeared.
