They come in an awesome bottle shape, I have the mini size bottles and they aren't hard to hold for pictures or hard to get the glitter out of the bottle like happens sometimes with the normal shaped mini sized bottles. (I often give my mini bottles to my daughter, Hailey, for her growing polish collection, but I definitely plan to keep these in my collection because they aren't so tiny!)
All Sea Lore Polishes are 3-free(BIG plus for me!), Cruelty Free, and hand mixed! Jamie has super cute packaging as well! She wraps each bottle individually in bubble wrap, and then wraps the bundle of polishes in this pretty tissue paper cocoon. Hailey loved the stickers! Also, a business card with a nail polish ring attached(FREE with every purchase over $20!).
My package came with an Alana ring! My very first piece of nail polish jewelry!
Alana is gorgeous! I love the ring!
All 7 bottles. How CUTE are those labels?
A rainbow of gorgeous colors!
The first polish I'll be showing from the collection is the most well-known of Triton's Daughters: Ariel! It's the only multicolor glitter in the collection and it caught my eye before any of the others! Jamie describes Ariel as a "Bright turquoise jelly base with red squares, purples hexes, green glitter, and green shimmer." The shimmer is teeny flakes that were a nice hidden surprise! The base is tinted but I don't think it will change the base color very much if you aren't using it over a similar color like I am here.
You know how much I love bottle shots! Just gorgeous!
I had a lot of fun picking corresponding base colors for this collection and for Ariel I went with Barielle Do Unto Others!
I think they make a great combo!
I was inspired to do some nail art with Ariel as soon as I saw it! It's been too long since I've done any free hand art and am really happy with how she turned out! Her eyelashes are a bit bushy because the black went on too thick, but all in all I love it!
Can you believe that's just ONE coat of Sea Lore Ariel?
How gorgeous is this glitter? And those teeny flakes!
I used:
Base coat of Duri Rejuvacote
2 coats of Barielle Do Unto Others
1 coat of Sea Lore Ariel
1 coat of NYC quick dry top coat
Ariel:
OPI Bubble Bath(face)
OPI Wouldn't Shoe Like To Know? (facial outlines)
Milani Rapid Cherry(hair and lips)
OPI I'm Not Really a Waitress(hair accents)
Milani White on the Spot(teeth and eyes)
Milani Black Swift(eyes and eyelashes)
OPI No Room For The Blues (eyes)
What do you think of Sea Lore Ariel as well as my nail art? I am really loving this glitter, especially with the coordinating base color. I can't wait to try it over different colors as well. It was really easy to apply and with one coat of top coat, it was smooth to the touch. No curling or sharp glitters, thank goodness! I have a bad habit of picking off glitters that do that. Plus, Hailey loved my nails! Sounds like a win-win to me!
Sea Lore polishes can be purchased online here:
They come in full size 15ml bottles for $10 and mini size 7.5ml bottles for $5.50.

ReplyDeleteSuper talented girl, your free hand Ariel is amazing. I paid a lot of money at Nickelodeon hotel to get a Dora painted on my toddler's finger and she peeled it off on the car ride home lol. Great work, I am polishing up on my talents, ordered some new brushes and some dotting tools cause the one I have is small. Love your blog=)
