Red Dog Designs: The Butterfly Garden Collection Swatches and Review!

Press Sample

Good morning readers, and TGIF! Adding to the awesomeness of Friday, Red Dog Designs will be releasing The Butterfly Garden Collection today! It was inspired by flowers that attract butterflies and fun, spring flowers, and gardens.  It consists of 8 polishes- 3 glitter toppers and 5 springy creme based polishes with different finishes: a holo, a flakie, an iridescent, a satin, and a texture sand! I love the versatility of this collection, come check it out!

Red Dog Designs Pentas
Pale pink linear holo creme with a pink shimmer.
Showing three coats below with no top coat.
The holo is on the softer side but I really love it!

Red Dog Designs Phlox
Pale purple creme with holo purple, glass violet, berry, and holo micro glitters, with a violet shimmer-- as a TEXTURE finish.
Showing two coats below with no top coat.
You have to let this dry down longer than mainstream brand liquid sands but its a fun effect after about a half hour or so. In the sun, the scattered holo really comes out to play.

Red Dog Designs Coreopsis
Pale yellow suede finish with gold and silver sparkles and gold shimmer.
Showing two coats below with no top coat.
This dries to a satin finish with a slight texture, you can almost see some visible nail line at two coats so you may prefer three. This is a very wearable shade of yellow for me!

Red Dog Designs Floral Flourish
Various sized hex, square, and circle glitters, in shades of rose, copper, pink, orange, gold, melon, white, light blue, holo silver, berry, holo gold, holo lime, and sprinkled with micro holo glitter, in a clear base. (17 different glitters)
I'm showing one coat below with a bit of dabbing for some extra glitter placement over Coreopsis with top coat. I really like the assortment of shapes and metallic glitter in this one!

Red Dog Designs Zinnia
Pale green creme with  blue micro flakies and green/gold shifting micro flakies and a green shimmer.
I'm showing two coats below with no top coat.
The flakies are a pretty addition to this springy green.

Red Dog Designs The Butterfly Effect
Various sized hex and square glitters, in shades of iridescent blue/purple, holo teal, holo lime, holo blue, holo purple, with neon pink, purple, and holo silver butterflies, sprinkled with micro holo glitter, in a clear base. (11 different glitters)
One coat shown below over Zinnia with top coat. You may remember this glitter from a previous post, I still love it just as much as I did then!

Red Dog Designs Aster
Pale blue creme with blue/green iridescent glitters, micro holo glitter and a turquoise shimmer.
Three coats shown below with no top coat.
The iridescent glitters make it glow from within!

Red Dog Designs Spring Fever
Various sized circle, flower, diamond, and butterfly glitters, in shades of pastel pink, pastel yellow, pastel orange, pastel green, pastel blue, pastel purple, hot pink, yellow, holo pink, holo silver, holo purple, and sprinkled with micro holo glitter, in a clear base. (18 different glitters)
I'm showing one dabbed coat over Aster below with top coat. These shaped glitters are adorable but heavier so I found it easier to just dab them onto the nail where I wanted.

What do you think of this adorable Spring collection by Red Dog Designs? I love all of the different finishes of the polishes and the combinations are endless with the glitter toppers that would look great over any of the base colors!

You can buy this collection today at 5pm EST for $10 per full sized bottle at the website below!

Which are your favorites? Thanks so much for reading!
