The hubby and I recently went on a date night (yay!) to see the new Mortal Instruments City of Bones movie and we loved it! We've both read the books and I thought the movie did a really good job staying in line with the book. Which we know doesn't always happen when books are made into movies.
Today's mani is inspired by the first book in the Mortal Instruments series: City of Bones, by Cassandra Clare. The background of the book cover inspired the background design on my nails. I did a saran wrap mani with a few different colors and I liked how they roughly blended for a neat effect. On my index finger is The Mortal Cup, and my middle finger is the symbol for "Angelic Power."
What do you think? I really loved how these turned out and I think I'll start re-reading the book series again! Check it out if you aren't familiar with it! Come back tomorrow for the next Digit-al Dozen September Spectacular theme. Thanks for reading!
