So today's theme is Art and I've done a design loosely based on the many splatter paintings by Jackson Pollock. Instead of recreating one of his paintings with the same color theme, I chose to do my own color theme using a splatter technique. To make it a bit more interesting, I did the whole mani using textured polishes!
The base is Zoya London and I've splattered using an old pen barrel with each of these colors:
Zoya Chyna, Zoya Solange, Zoya Stevie, Kiko Sugar Mat 643, and Kiko Sugar Mat 644. Of course, I skipped the top coat to let the texture stick around!
What do you think? Thanks for reading! Come back tomorrow for the next throwback theme post!
Awesome as always!
ReplyDeleteThis is a brilliant idea! I looks so cool! :)
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love splatter manis, this one doesn't work for me. I don't think that sands make good splash.
ReplyDeleteLove the dimension! Beautiful!
ReplyDeletethis came out so awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhen I tried a splatter texture mani - the polish just had a lot of difficulty splattering! This looks amazing however :)
