Hello, readers! It's time for this month's nail art prompt with The Lacquer Legion: Glam! I automatically think of gold when it comes to glam so I paired it with one of my favorite Dior polishes: Saint Tropez! I don't own many high end polishes so of course wearing one also adds to the glamorous feeling.

From The Vault: OPI Funkey Dunkey and Dior Perlé
Hello, readers! Spring Break has been crazy around here so today's post is a quick NOTD from the "vault" (photos I've had on my computer and haven't posted yet). This was before my super nail break and it was a combo I fell in love with. I'm convinced Dior Perlé is amazing over any color. I've layered it over this purple creme: OPI Funky Dunkey. The pink and blue shimmer are so gorgeous after shiny top coat!

Tutorial Tuesday: Mermaid Scale Nail Art!
Good morning, readers! As promised yesterday, here is a simple tutorial on how to recreate the mermaid scale nail art design. If you don't have these layering base colors of Dior Saint Tropez and Dior Perlé, you can of course use any colors you'd like the base of your scales to be! I'm just showing exactly how I did mine.

Mermaid Scales Nail Art with Dior Saint Tropez and Dior Perlé!
Good morning, readers! I am going to share my latest nail art with you that I've worn all weekend and still have on today! As soon as I got Dior Perlé in the mail, I wanted to try it over some other Dior colors in my collection. I tried it on a nail wheel over my favorite, Dior Saint Tropez, and my jaw dropped! It reminded me so much of one of my favorite polishes: RBL Aqua Lily, but on overdrive! The shimmer is much more noticeable and there is blue in with the pink sparkly shimmer so it's more complex as well. I fell instantly in love and it became a full mani with some free handed mermaid scales!

Dior Day! Half Moon Mani: Dior Bouquet and Dior Perlé!
Press Sample
Good evening, readers! This is a late post for me, but a group of friends decided that we should all wear Dior polish today and blog it together. I ordered 2 of the new Diors and I was so happy to see they were out for delivery today! So once they came in the mail, I had to start my mani much later in the day. But I made it!

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Skittles Day 5: Brown and Turquoise!
Good morning, readers! It's the final day of "Skittle Week" with The Digit-al Dozen. This is a random mani but I loved the color combo and I can see myself wearing some of the individual finger designs as a full mani in the future!
Dior Saint Tropez, Picture Polish Lagoon, Picture Polish Demeter, and Butter London Teetotal are the polishes used.
Thumb: gradient of all 4.
Index: gradient of Saint Tropez and Teetotal.
Middle: gradient of Lagoon and Demeter.
Ring: gradient of Teetotal and Demeter.
Pinky: gradient of Saint Tropez and Lagoon.

The bottles even look pretty next to eachother!
What do you think? This was one of the messiest manis I've done in a long time but it was worth it, these colors together are awesome!
Thanks so much for reading!

Turquoise Waterfall Nail Art!
Hello, readers! I was able to take some time to put up a post tonight for you! It's been crazy getting Hailey ready to start Kindergarten next week, and the hubby and I started watching Doctor Who on Netflix so every night we are watching that instead of me having nail time! Haha, its addicting.
Anyway, tonight's post is a nail look I did last week. I followed this awesome tutorial by The Nailasaurus but went with one of my favorite color families--turquoise-- for my version of the look!
My base is is Dior St. Tropez and I did the waterfall stripe lines in Illamasqua Muse, Zoya Zuza, Milani Quick Teal, and Cult Nails Let Me Fly. I also couldn't decide on shiny or matte so I'm going to show you both and I'd love to hear what look you prefer!

Digit-al Dozen DOES Book Week Day 5: Hooray For Fish!
Good morning, readers! It's the final day of Book Week with the Digit-al Dozen and I'm a little sad it's over. What a wonderful week of nail art from all of us!
Today's book is another that most of you won't know but we grabbed it for cheap at Marshall's one day while shopping a few years ago (I definitely recommend looking for books at the discount stores like that and TJ Maxx, Ross, etc.) and Hailey still picks this for bedtime some nights. It's a board book so I can start reading it to Owen as well!
Hooray For Fish is by Lucy Cousins and has cute illustrations of the different fish that Little Fish sees on his way to find his Mom. From Ele-fish in the shape of an elephant with fins to Sky fish who has a cloud pattern on his scales, it is super cute!
I got to try out my newly acquired Dior Lagoon for this mani! It's super gorgeous and I love it!
Here is a google image of the cover for you:

Sea Lore Spring Seas Collection Day 3: Springing Seahorse!
Hello, readers! I have the third polish in the Sea Lore Spring Seas Collection for you today! I think it is another favorite for me and I did a fun layering combination with it. If you missed my 2 previous posts on the other Spring Seas Collection polishes, you can find them below:
Leaping Lyretail
Jumping Jellyfish
Springing Seahorse is a sparkling purple iridescent base with various shades of purple glitters. It is a beautiful glitter topper and I chose to layer ONE coat over Dior St. Tropez. I love the contrast- the gorgeous shimmer really shows it's colors against this base. (The combo reminds me of RBL Aqua Lily, which I LOVE!) It applied easily without having to manipulate the glitter and was smooth to the touch after one coat of top coat.
I did a cute little seahorse on my accent nail as well!

Digit-al Dozen DOES Bling Day 1: Reverse Glitter Gradient!
Hello, readers! It's time for another Digit-al Dozen week! This month's theme is Bling and it's so broad that I am having trouble with it. Today's post is a simple reverse glitter gradient but I loved these nails so much that I've been wearing them since Friday!
I bought my first Dior nail polish and it is gorgeous! St Tropez is such a "Jacki color" and I am so happy I was able to get my hands on it since it's harder to find now. I did 2 coats of Dior St Tropez and then dabbed Lynnderella Magic Fairy Stars from the cuticle toward the tip using a triangle makeup sponge. I have a thicker gel-like top coat followed by Cult Nails Wicked Fast to seal in all of the glitter but the thicker top coat caused the bubbles you see in the macro. :(

What do you think of this mani? I wore it for Hailey's 5th birthday weekend! Thanks for reading!
