The Digit-al Dozen DOES Nature, Day 3: Mermaid Tail Nail Art

Good morning, readers! Are you ready for Day 3 of Nature Week with The Digit-al Dozen? I wore this mani all weekend and loved it so much! It's been a little over a year since I first tried free handed Mermaid Scales and I even did a simple tutorial for it! For this mani, I went a different route and added more color to the fin before adding the scale pattern on top. Mermaids may not be real, but I'm fitting them in with nature week anyway!

13 Days Of January, Day 4: Monochromatic! (Herringbone Nail Art)

Affiliate Link

Good morning, readers! TGIF! Are you excited for the weekend? It's time for the 4th nail art prompt in our 13 Days of January challenge: Monochromatic. Of course I had to pick my favorite color family: orchid purples! I followed another tutorial from Idiot's Guides: Nail Art for this look!

Grunge Fairy Nail Art

Good afternoon, readers! I really love the grunge/worn/acid wash type nail art techniques but I don't always want grungy color palettes on my nails. I think it's the non-perfection of lines or designs that draw me in so I wanted to do something a little more "girly" with that idea in mind today. I guess we can call this Grunge Fairy!

The Digit-al Dozen DOES Spooky Days, Day 4: Spider Webs!

Good morning, readers! It's Day 4 of Spooky Days with The Digit-al Dozen. I feel like I can't get through a Halloween season without spider web nails. Spiders creep me out all year long, but I still can't deny how fun the webs are to paint. I've been doing them for years and I love how different they can look. This time, I was wearing Pahlish The Final Flower and knew I wanted to use it as a base for spider webs. Elevation Polish Black Ice was a great pairing for the gradient, and the silver spider webs just popped so well.

Paisley Skittlette Manicure!

Good morning, readers! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday weekend! Our's was busy and I didn't have time for nail art until this morning. I was stumped at what to do on my nails, so I started grabbing polishes that I liked together. Pahlish Sarey's Berry, Nerd Lacquer Cyance Friction, and KBShimmer Run! It's The Coppers! complemented each other well. After doing a skittlette with the three base colors, I decided to add a simple paisley pattern.

Tutorial Tuesday: Cute Alien Nail Art!

Good afternoon, readers! As promised, here is this week's tutorial on my cute alien design! I wore the alien on my accent nail and had galaxies on the rest of my nails in a similar color scheme. There are double the amount of steps in this tutorial than needed if you are working with non-shimmers or colors that are more opaque. I did a lot of opaque cremes and then layered a sheer shimmery polish in the next step because I wanted to have a sparkling alien. Feel free to use whatever colors you would like on your own alien!

Cutesy Alien and Galaxy Nail Art!

Good afternoon! TGIF! I have some fun nails to share with you that I'm wearing for the weekend. If you haven't noticed by now, I tend to gravitate a lot toward cutesy animal/creature nail art (I am Mommy to a 6 and 2 year old after all). For this look, I created a girly galaxy with my favorite colors and a cute little alien accent nail! This is such a "Jacki mani" that I am pumped to be wearing them!

Pahlish Sarey's Berry + Butterfly Wing Nail Art!

Good morning! If you are a new-comer to the Pahlish buying life, as I am, you may not have heard of Bespoke Batches. Basically, they are limited edition and one-time-sale polishes. This is due to ingredients not being available anymore, or the cost being too high to produce as core colors. So today, I show you my very first Bespoke Batch polish: Pahlish Sarey's Berry.  It is a gorgeous bright purple/fuchsia jelly with a mix of soft white, violet, and blue flakes. AKA: AMAZING! This just made it's way into my top polishes for sure. I can't tell you enough good things about this polish, aside from the fact that I'm sad you can't all get it anymore. It is one that I think every polish lover needs in their collection.

Of course I wanted to do some nail art with Sarey's Berry, but didn't want to cover up too much of the beauty of it. So, I used my own Butterfly Wing Nail Art Tutorial and added the wing designs to accentuate the base color.
